Bachelorette Party in Tutus!

Last weekend was my bachelorette party, with the help of 2 of my friends we made tutus for the girls. They were pretty epic. Mine was a high low tutu in white, with glittery tulle and a beautiful lace belt over top. My friends' were white, tiffany blue and a sand color. Geared up in their black attire as self proclaimed "ballerina ninja's" and me in a white dress and light up bachelorette sash, we were ready for a night out in Jacksonville.

After getting ready in the hotel (over pink champagne of course) we headed out to the first bar for coconut chocolate martinis- YUM! Dinner involved shots from the manager (score), and fancy shrimp and cheese grits with an espresso martini for me.

Then we headed out to a drag show, no I am not kidding. But sadly they were running way behind and I had too much of an urge to dance to spend the rest of my night there. We saw a few of the dancers walking around in the outside bar/waiting area so...next!

Leaving there we headed to Jacksonville Beach and shimmied right up to the front of the line, in our adorable outfits with 6 women who would honestly deny us entry? ;) Until closing we danced the night away, there was another bachelorette party there and they were surprisingly friendly to our group. The bride was extra drunk though I have to say.

It was a really fun time, and I remember all of it! I'm glad it didn't get as crazy as the stereotypical bachelorette party and no one tried to talk me out of getting married. I just got a bunch of high fives and congratulations. It was fun to have a bit of extra attention for the night.

We did Before & Afters with mock jail signs my fiancé made at his sign shop.  How fun are these? ;)

Now onto the wedding! Eeek! I can't believe I'm only 8 sleeps away from becoming his Mrs. :)

4 M's at Mon Petit Chou

Mon Petit Chou Spa and Salon in Saint Augustine put on an event called The 4 M's Night yesterday; it included a Martini, a express Manicure, a mini Makeover and a chair Massage. So much fun, and totally worth it for $25!
My punch card that also gives me 10% off any service when I go back.
Mon Petit Chou is adorable with a fresh yet vintage style. The owner Amanda Hopcroft and her staff are super friendly too which is a definite must!
Sailor's Omen
I finally got to meet Ashley of Sailor's Omen, a jewelry designer and reader of this blog! Her jewelry is right up my alley, all of the stones in various settings from necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings. Expect a featured post on her in the near future. :)

I picked She's Picture Perfect by Essie for my manicure. It's a lovely periwinkle color with an iridescent flair, a cheery color for spring showers.

We were also indulged with a chair massage, a pear ginger martini, and a choice of mini makeover options. Our options for the mini makeover were: how to apply the perfect red lip, how to apply false eyelashes, a brow shaping or a quick makeover. I went for the false eyelashes because they are quite the intimidator for me. One great tip I didn't know was that you should put your mirror on a table and apply your trimmed lashes while looking down.

I really enjoyed my girls night out, it was good to see some old friends I hadn't seen in a while, meet some new, and check out a new spa in town. I'll definitely be going back!

Have you had any fun girls night outs recently? What did you do?
