Life Lately: Yoga & Jamaica

Hey friends! I'm back from a short hiatus on my blog. As mentioned in my previous post, I'm now a certified yoga instructor. :) I'm having so much fun teaching Kripalu classes at a local studio and at the beach.

Here's a little catch-up to bring you up to speed on the good things in my life. Not pictured is the garbage the dogs have gotten into, the dishes that have to be hand washed (we live in the stone age), and the other life stuff that isn't really fun to talk/read about.

Taking a moment to soak it all in while visiting Floyd's Pelican Bar in JA (out on a sandbar in the middle of the ocean).

The Rock House Hotel in Negril, Jamaica gives passports to each of their guests. By doing various activities (like jumping off the cliff into the ocean, or drinking a shot of ginger) you get stamps. With enough stamps, you receive a gift. As a social media consultant, this cell phone challenge was right up my alley. I enjoyed taking time away from social media and email for a day.

My time not blogging here has been spent working, eating sushi, practicing yoga, continuing my journey as a student of yoga, loving on my husband and sweet puppies, and taking the time for self-care and to explore more of my spirituality.
