Taking Stock of Summer

Living in a beach town in Florida makes one spoiled.  This is the warmest winter I have experienced in the 8 years I have been down here (originally from Maryland).  I have only worn my winter jacket 3 or 4 times as the temperature on a low day, has been about 55 degrees.  All I need is long sleeves for that and maybe a cute scarf.  I am loving this mild winter though, no complaining here.  Global warming is real people!
All this mild weather though has been making me crave the beach, care free weekends, being tan, naturally highlighted hair, salty skin, sandy feet, fireworks, creamsicles, summer dresses, new shades and happy wet dogs!

I long for these care free moments...

I found this DIY for creamssicle bath salts that I'm sure will take me write back to summertime and running out to catch the ice cream man in Ocean City with Grandma to get some soon to be drippy, swirled creamsicles. :) Can't wait to try it out.

Bits of summer will hopefully start in March and I'll be able to get into some summer outfits.  I love this dress from PacSun with the lace insets in the sleeves, great colors too.  Headbands are of course a requirement at the beach if you have bangs. After swearing off tanning salons back in October, I will definitely need to be applying some St Tropez so it doesn't look like Casper is rolling through.  Summer Stock

Soooo ready for summer!!
