My sister graduated from Salisbury University this weekend so I have ventured up to Maryland. It has been a great trip. I saw family I hadn't seen in 2 years, got to celebrate Patty's graduation, and a little bit of Christmas with everyone.
Today my high school friend Lyndz and I took a stroll down the boardwalk here in Ocean City before heading to lunch. I have so many memories as a small child here, and the combination of eeriness from the fog, lack of people and remnants of Hurricane Sandy destruction made them seem ages ago.
This is such a sleepy town in the winter, very few cars on the highway and the buses only run every half hour. Pain in the butt when you need to go 20 streets, you will get there walking before another bus comes by!
It's good to be here and see everyone, but I'm cold, tired and ready to sleep in my own bed. My flight is currently delayed, and my fingers are crossed it doesn't get pushed back any further.
