Scarves in Florida?

I love scarves, they're so fun and versatile. I'm a major fan of a basic solid long sleeve top and a scarf in the fall and winter.

It is a little overbearing to wear a scarf in Florida in the fall though. I mean the lowest it's been here in the last month is about 80 degrees...not exactly scarf weather.

I was very happy to find a website with all kinds of way to tie scarves. My favorite is this braided scarf, it's easy and is more of a fashion statement than a means to keep warm.

Here's a video on how to tie it from Scarves Dot Net:

What about you, are you a fan of scarves? Any "cooler" ways to tie one that takes some of the warmth aspect out?

I wore this knot out on Friday and I'm not even gonna lie, it took about 20 minutes of untieing and retieing to get it right. haha
