We all love the sugary, sticky, goodness of regular cinnamon monkey bread. But how about cute mini monkey breads, that go better with dinner then Sunday coffee?
I made these little guys last night to go with our salmon and pesto pasta. They were the perfect size and 1 roll of buttermilk biscuits made 8 mini monkey breads.
Here's all you need:
- 3 tbsp's melted butter
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 can of buttermilk biscuits
- 1/4 cup of italian cheeze (I used parmesan)
Cut each biscuit into quarters. (Norah Jones' new album serenaded me while cooking.)
Combine melted butter, minced garlic, and cheese; pour over biscuit pieces.
Place 4-5 pieces of biscuit into each muffin tin. Sprinkle with extra cheese and parsley, I even threw a little garlic powder on there (garlic freak over here).
Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes.
Best enjoyed with pasta and a glass of white wine. ;)
