Weekend Thrifting

Over the weekend Dee and I went to the flea market here in town to see if there was anything we just couldn't live without. Turns out, we found a few things that fit that bill.

The crystals and the cute assortment of salt and pepper shakers caught my eye. specifically those cute little sunflower ones, but those didn't make it home with us.
What did was this awesome dimensional painting that was done on burlap; and it was a steal at only $7! We're loving it and it adds so much to our dining and living area.
It is on a frame and about 3 1/2 feet wide by 2 feet tall.
The other things I picked up were these 2 stones and some African Black soap or Ose' Dudu. I've used the soap before on my face and it worked really well for me, but the shop I was getting it from charged over $25 for the same amount of soap that I paid $2 for this weekend. Have you used it before? It really helps clear up my skin on the occasion when it flares up, I would definitely recommend giving it a try!
The stones are lime green (Chrysoprase) and dark green with black (a form of Jasper).

Yea, give it a shot! For me it dries out the bad, but doesn't dry out the rest of my face. I'd love to hear how it works for you.

This was my first successful attempt, it takes up a lot of time. But I am definitely going to try to find some more goodies, patience is all I need.
