I feel like Florida is always a little bit behind on everything. Be it music or fashion, maybe it's just the area I'm in, Miami could be a little more up to date I don't know. It always seemed when I would take winter breaks back to Maryland I would hear songs on the radio I'd never heard before, then a few weeks after returning to FL they'd be all over our radio. Then with fashion...definitely always behind there too.
So for this summer I'm expecting that the high waisted shorts will finally make their way down here. Specifically colored jean shorts. This is just a guess, but I know they're already big everywhere else. Here's some of my favorite styles...
I still will be rocking my hip hugging shorts, but I'll definitely have to pick up another pair or two of the high waists for this summer!
For those of you in the colder areas, I'm jealous! These look great with tights!
