I'm on an annual makeup overhaul. I need to go through and get rid of all the chaulky, low pigmented, year old (mostly Mark) eye make up I have and step it up.

Please keep in mind I really don't want to spend more than $50. I've been looking through blogs and make up reviews for the last 3 days and have pretty much gotten no where. I do like the smokey look for night time and have been drawn to Kat Von D's palettes more than once.
