Happy Weekend

It's been so warm here in Saint Augustine the past few days, over 80 degrees! Odd for the first week of December, especially since Thanksgiving was in the 50's.
I love cardinals, they remind me of winter and my Grandmother's house in Maryland. To me they were as significant as seeing robins in the spring, only for the freeze coming instead of the thaw. Now I feel like I see them all year round. The most intriguing sight is their pop of red against a blustery snow, feathers all ruffled up but willing to take on the storm.
