Here are some wedding dress shopping tips from the knowledge I gained looking on Friday. After searching around and maybe clipping some pictures of what you like, get ready.
- Determine your budget, definitely not the fun part but something you must know before going.
- Research! Be sure to check out the local shops in your area. Most if not all will have websites to see the designers they carry ($). Read the reviews too.
- Make an appointment. I didn't do this until the morning of- bad idea. Even with David's Bridal you will need one.
- Map it out. If you're doing a few places in one day you'll want to have yourself organized and know where you're going and when so you are not hopping all over the city.
- Bring a strapless bra. This should also probably be a no brainer but I forgot/only had black. They do have bras on hand but you may feel more comfortable in your own (read: clean).
Of all the dresses I tried on, I kept going back to the first one. When people tell you things look different online or in pictures, it's true. The style of dress I picked is nothing liked the ones I thought I would like.
I pretty much tried this one on not expecting too much. Needless to say I hated it and that's why I'm posting it, you'll have to wait until February 2014 to see the one I chose.

Do you have any wedding dress tips you would give to others? Or even to me for when I go back with my sister for the final decision?

I'd also say try on anything you're on the fence about...the one I bought looked so lame on the hanger, but awesome on me! I'm so glad my friends asked me to please try it on :)
PS - I got a comment from you earlier but you're a "no-reply" commenter - let me know if you need help to figure out how to change that :)
What a good post! Your tips are great!!!!!!!!!1
