Holi-DIY

I've been very into the Holiday spirit, Christmas music has been playing and Elf was the movie of choice tonight. :)
I normally make Thanksgiving dinner, but this year with only 3 mouths to feed, 1 not eating turkey (me), we've decided to go out to eat. I will still make dessert for that evening, but no crazy cooking for me this year. I'm kind of relieved, but also kind of sad about it. It's just that it's a tradition and I feel like it will be strange to eat out at a restaurant with a bunch of people I don't know all around. But it will be fine, and I will surely enjoy not having to hand wash all of my dishes that evening!
Knowing that I don't really have to entertain for Thanksgiving means I can stop hunting for fall decorations that will transition to Christmas. Now I can focus on Christmas decor. I am really into the idea of DIY'ing most of the decorations, I have a few DIY items from previous years to pull out too.
I found a great DIY Holiday Mobile from the Free People Blog that I will definitely be making.

Do you have any good Holiday DIY's? Will you be cooking Thanksgiving, going out, or enjoying someone else's cooking?
