This weekend was really enjoyable for me, as I hope yours
was too. I baked the Peach Blueberry Crumble featured in Sweet Sundays, planted
daffodil bulbs (my fave), had time for a mani/pedi, stopped by Declaration
Boutique and Goldfinch Boutique, went to the Sunset Moonrise lighthouse tour,
tried out Gas Restaurant for the first time and was able to get some cleaning
done around the house. Phew, that was a mouthful.
At the recommendations of many I went for the gelish
manicure, and I have to say I’m impressed. I don’t have manicures
professionally done very often; I figure I can just paint my own nails. But
whenever I do, I go for the French manicure. My peeling, flimsy nails look
amazing and feel so much better right now. Now for the test of time to see how
long they actually last... I was told 2 weeks by the nail tech, I’ll let you
know how they stand up.

got their open faced Benedict burger, and they even had a vegetarian option for
non-meat eaters like me. I haven’t ever had
tofu that tastes this good and topped with the blue cheese sauce and fried
green tomatos- WOW! We will definitely be going back.
