Cravings!

Back in the middle of March I stopped eating all meat but Fish & Gator (yes I live in Florida, yes we have swamps, therefore yes we eat gator tail here).  All has been well except for my junk food needs! I haven't experienced a kitchen so stocked full of chips and Cheetos since my middle school days. I'm just craving carbs more then before and our pantry shows it.  Does anyone have tips on how to kick these cravings? They are not normal for me at all!

Last night the man of the house made BBQ Ribs on the grill for himself, the smell of the BBQ marinating was killing me and I knew it was time for a new recipe.  I found an easy recipe for BBQ Tempeh and it was awesome!  Messy like a sloppy joe (yuck) but cured my need for the sweet smokiness of BBQ sauce. Nom nom nom..

To make it all you have to do is crumble up some tempeh (I just eyeballed how much I could eat in a sandwich), and add enough of your favorite BBQ sauce in a bowel to allow some marinating for 10 minutes or more.  Then just heat it up in the skillet, you could also sautee some onions in oil before adding in the BBQ and Tempeh.  I then took a toasted Sandwich Thin (a bun would do), added a pineapple slice and some cheese.
Add a Caesar salad and VOILA easy delicious dinner!  I wish I would have taken a picture for y'all but you will either have to visualize or make it yourself. ;)

Thanks for reading and I hope you have a great day!
