Oooo Christmas tree!

We just went and picked our tree up (from Food Lion-don't tell my Dad or any other Maryland friends of mine, they would all laugh hysterically). It's a lot different of an experience going to pick out a tree in 60 degree weather then to go cut one down (or maybe pick it up from the local fire department) in 30 degrees with gloves, a scarf, hat, 2 sweaters and a heavy jacket. Not such an urge to race home for hot chocolate, more like ... Ice cream!

I still had to blare the Christmas tunes and belt it out the whole way there and back though. Annnnd I did thoroughly enjoy seeing my manly man in his flannel, throwing the tree on his shoulder like a lumberjack. ;)
Cheers to Christmas in Florida, or any other warm climate where there are no Christmas tree farms! It's really not do bad, Mexican Hot Chocolate flavored ice cream sounds divine right now.
